Dr. Miguel Jimenez, president of Polifenoles Naturales ("POLINAT") of the Canary Islands, Spain, announced the company's acquisition of National Bioscience Corp, (NBC), Chester, New York.  National Bioscience was headed by the recently deceased Dr. Zakir Ramazanov, a well-respected pioneer, scientist and leader in the nutraceuticals industry.  (For more information about  Dr. Ramazanov, please see press release:  "Dr. Zakir Ramazanov, President of National Bioscience and beloved husband and father, died suddenly in November." )

Polifenoles Naturales and National Bioscience Corporation are sister companies.  Polinat has long been responsible for commercialization and production of many of Dr. Ramazanov's innovations and developments. 

At the same time, Dr. Jimenez also announced the appointment of P.L. Thomas (PLT), Morristown, New Jersey as exclusive representative of Polinat's line of products in North America.  Additionally, PLT will service all of National Biosciences' accounts. Dr. Jimenez said, "National Bioscience Corp., Polinat and PLT have enjoyed a long and trusted relationship, making the selection of PLT the perfect choice."
