PL Thomas exhibited at the Supply Side West trade show in Las Vegas last month.  PL Thomas highlighted botanical extracts, made by Vinyals, (Spain), that are controlled for pesticide residue. The same products can also be offered without maltodextrin.  Mr. Tony Rubiralta, General Manager of Vinyals, Barcelona, met with many of our colleagues, to discuss their line of standardized botanical extracts made according to the EP (European Pharmacopeia). More and more of our customers are asking for products that are controlled for pesticide residues.  Vinyals tests every incoming batch of raw materials for dozens of pesticide residues.  If it does not meet the incoming specs, the raw material is rejected.  Vinyals QC procedures ensure that the finished extract will also have controlled levels of pesticide residues.
Vinyals has been making extracts for 100 years and built a new $25 million GMP extract facility three years ago.  They make a broad range of standardized extracts that are certified Kosher. These products are available from PL Thomas.
