PLT offers ECOGUAR™, an organic guar gum free
of synthetic chemicals, pesticides or herbicides. Guar,
cultivated primarily in India and Pakistan, is a galactomannan
obtained from the endosperm of a legume seed.
For ECOGUAR™ , the farming, manufacturing and logistics
are carried out strictly in accordance with organic production
methods based on Council Regulation (EEC) and USDA (NOP).
ECOGUAR™ ensures the utmost quality and microbial
purity as the guar splits are subjected to mild pasteurization
prior to producing the finished powder. The resulting product
has good hydration in cold and hot water, achieving high
terminal viscosity. It is suitable for use in a wide variety
of food products.
