Ceamgel 1313™ is a specially processed carrageen
offered in cooperation with our partner Ceamsa, with cost
benefits for production and improved product performance
for the consumer. Ceamgel 1313 is cold water soluble,
removing the heating step during processing, and provides
excellent yield improvement.
Developed especially for products that are intended for
distribution as fresh or frozen, Ceamgel 1313 is
suitable for injection and provides a significant weight gain
in meat, poultry and fish products.
Important for the consumer, Ceamgel improves water
retention and provides excellent freeze-thaw stability,
resulting in improved “juicyness” and reduced frying and
cooking loss in the end product.
Important for industry, Ceamgel 1313 ensures good
processing economy, lower drip loss and lower syneresis
in the packaging during transport, storage and display.
