PLT Continues to Add Staff and Grow Business

Experienced Industry Professionals Join PLT

 

 

     P.L. Thomas & Co., Inc., has recently added four talented professionals to its staff.  Paul Flowerman, president, notes that “our new staff will strongly support PLT’s commitment to meet our food and dietary supplementary clients’ rapidly evolving needs for smarter service, substantive science, and streamlined solutions!” 

 

 

Rodger Jonas - National Business Development Manager 

 

Previously with food giants such as General Foods and Chiquita Brands, Rodger has a strong

background in food ingredients sales, marketing and product development.  Holder of several

patents, his prior work focused on value-added ingredients applications and sales.   Rodger

holds a Bachelor of Science, Microbiology, from Cornell University, a Master of Arts,

Food Science, from Pennsylvania State University, and an MBA from Central Michigan

University.

 

Paula Nürnberger  - Marketing Manager

As marketing manager for Werner & Pfleiderer Corporation (designers and builders of systems

for the food, plastics and chemical industries) Paula directed activities for the NAFTA region. 

Prior to WP, Paula worked in Europe and also held positions with Hoffmann-La Roche, Inc.,

the March of Dimes, and BASF Corporation.   Paula has a Bachelor of Science degree from

Caldwell College and an MBA, Marketing, from Fairleigh Dickinson University.

 

 

 

 

Eric Anderson – Manager, New Business and Brand Management

 

With more than a decade of experience in the nutraceuticals area, Eric was most recently

Managing Partner of Ignite Marketing Group, a consulting firm working with clients in the raw

materials and finished goods channels.  Eric also served as Vice President, Sales and Marketing

for PharmaNutrients, Inc, of Illinois, where he oversaw the introduction of several leading

branded ingredients, and as Director of Distribution and Marketing for MD Labs, Inc.

in Phoenix, Arizona. Eric has a Bachelor of Arts degree, Inter-Disciplinary Studies, from

the University of Arizona.

 

 

Alicia Weyand – Assistant Product Manager

 

Backed by sales support experience at Cambridge, Allen & Associates, Alicia is responsible

for customer service and sales support at PLT.  Alicia attended Katharine Gibbs School,

Legal Executive Assistant Program in Piscataway, New Jersey.
