Description

URSOLE™ is a 100% natural rosemary extract rich in natural phytochemicals.  This special high-grade extract contains high amounts of ursolic acid and oleanolic acid, two compounds that promise benefits for skin.  Ursolic and oleanolic acids are present in many plants, especially in waxy coatings that protect fruits and leaves, and both have important phytomedicinal properties.  URSOLE™ can be used in both food and cosmetics.

URSOLE™ helps skin resist the effects of aging and the sun. When applied topically ursolic acid increases levels of ceramide in the skin after less than a week. Ceramide plays an essential role in maintaining the moisture and suppleness of skin. Ursolic acid is also known to restore collagen bundle structures in the skin and improve skin elasticity. Thus URSOLE™ is suited for cosmeceutical preparations for aging, dry, or damaged skin. And because ursolic acid inhibits inflammatory molecules, it is suitable for after-sun treatments and cosmetics for sensitive skin.
