How Vitamin D3 works

• Dosages of Vitamin D used in clinical studies range from 200IU (5mcg) to 10,000IU(250mcg) daily.

CapsuDar^® is a microencapsulated, water dispersible preparation of the biologically active form of Vitamin D - D3. It is protected against light, oxygen and acids which inactivate Vitamin D3. It withstands mixtures with multiple ingredients and is stable in processing and storage conditions. CapsuDar^® is stable when heat-treated up to 80°C for 5 minutes.

Vitamin D, known as the “sunshine” vitamin, is formed in the body by the action of the sun’s ultraviolet rays on the skin, and then converted by the liver and kidneys to the active forms of vitamin D in the body. Vitamin D deficiency can result from inadequate dietary intake, insufficient exposure to sunlight, and malfunctions of the liver and kidneys. Vitamin D deficiency can occur in all age groups.
