Tomat-O-Red® is ideal as a colorant because it offers an all natural alternative to coloring with carmine/cochineal.
Tomat-O-Red® is vegetarian and certified kosher. It is stable in a wide range of temperatures, is offered in two ready-to-use formulations, and there is no color shift with pH changes. Tomat-O-Red®, available as a liquid dispersion or a cold-water dispersible powder, is ideal for a wide variety of food and beverage applications.
Tomat-O-Red® has the added benefit of containing lycopene and beta carotene, healthful carotenoids.
Recent double-blind studies have shown that lycopene, an antioxidant, may protect against prostate cancer and the risk of coronary heart disease. It is a potent antioxidant which also provides numerous other clinically-demonstrated benefits.
