Rosemary extract is a natural antioxidant used in meat products to protect color and flavor by inhibiting rancidity from oxidation of fats. This product is 100% natural and certified kosher, and can be labeled as "spice extract" or "natural flavor". Rosemary extract now comes in an organic-certified form.
Providing natural colors, multiple antioxidants and preservatives derived from lycopene including Tomat-O-Red® (which has the advantage that it does not bleed when used) and rosemary extract result in cleaner labels with more stable products. Yield improvement and ice crystal formation are addressed with our hydrocolloids and non-hydrocolloid ingredients.
